Hello, I'm Lauren.
I’m a wife and mother to two boys, George and our newest addition, Harry. After taking time to soak in those early months, I’m now gently stepping back into work, ready to once again support couples in creating wedding websites and stationery that are thoughtfully designed and truly beautiful and intuitive.
My journey into the wedding world began with my own celebration, a destination winter wedding in the Lake District, a seven-hour journey from our home in the South of England. We chose a December black-tie celebration, embracing the early dusk and the quiet magic of the season. With darkness falling by late afternoon, candlelight and winter air created an atmosphere that felt both refined and deeply personal.
Although it was a long journey for our guests, ensuring a seamless guest experience was always at the heart of every decision. We wanted each person to feel considered and cared for, and I’m so proud that many told us it was more than worth the trip.
Before becoming Mrs Goater, I worked in the corporate world managing an optician’s practice. It was a role I enjoyed, but when the world shifted during COVID, so did my path. In a short space of time, Steve and I moved in together, began renovating our first home (another creative love of mine), and welcomed George into our lives. It was a season of change and clarity.
Having already supported businesses with their websites and branding, I found myself drawn to the finer details of weddings, the pieces that quietly elevate a day and guide guests with ease. From that blend of experience and passion, Lauren&Lace was created.
Today, my work is rooted in calm guidance and thoughtful design. I understand how overwhelming planning can feel, and I’m here to offer reassurance, clarity, and a steady hand. Together, we’ll create something designed with care, something that feels effortlessly refined and entirely yours.
